KT Wiz, who confirmed second place in the 2023 KBO League regular season, has begun organizing the team ahead of preparations for ‘fall baseball’. On the 12th, the KT team announced that it had applied for waiver notice to the KBO for Baek Seon-ki, Baek Hyun-soo (pitcher), Lee Dong-gwan (infielder), and Han Ji-yong (catcher).

Baek Hyun-soo, a right-hander like Baek Seon-gi, graduated from Daegu High School and Kyung Hee University and wore the KT uniform as a training player in 2023. He appeared in 14 games in the Futures League, pitched 23.2 innings, had 4 losses, and had an ERA of 11.03.
Lee Dong-kwan graduated from Jangan High School and Wonkwang University and joined Baek Hyun-soo as a training player in the same year. His Futures League performance is as follows: appearing in 31 games, batting average of .200, 9 ERA (11-for-48), 3 RBI, 13 runs, and 4 stolen bases.
Han Ji-yong graduated from Shinil High School and came to KT as the 62nd pick in the 2nd 7th round of the 2020 rookie draft. He, who has yet to make his first-team debut, appeared in 43 games in the Futures League, hitting .
