Teacher in his 60s found dead while hiking in Seongnam… Bereaved family “stress from parental complaints”

Recently, a high school teacher in Yongin스포츠토토, Gyeonggi-do was found dead amid social repercussions as teachers continued to make extreme choices.

At around 10:35 a.m. on the 3rd, Mr. A, a high school teacher in his 60s, was found dead near the entrance to the Cheonggyesan hiking trail in Unjung-dong, Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si.

Mr. A’s family reported to the police that day when Mr. A, who had gone out the previous day, did not return home and could not be contacted, and the police found Mr. A after tracking the location of his cell phone. It was reported that Mr. A’s belongings at the scene contained a will.

A police official said, “There was a statement from the bereaved family that they ‘recently suffered from severe stress due to parents’ complaints,’” and added, “We cannot confirm the details because they are under investigation.”

Previously, on the 31st of last month, a 14-year elementary school teacher in Yangcheon, Seoul, was found dead in an apartment in Deogyang-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do. Also, on the 1st of this month, a teacher from an elementary school in the Gunsan area was found dead in the sea under the Dongbaek Bridge in Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do.

Meanwhile, tensions are rising as teachers across the country have designated the 49th anniversary of the 49th anniversary of the death of a teacher at Seoi Elementary School in Seocho-gu, Seoul as ‘Public Education Stop Day’ and are planning a rally in front of the National Assembly.
